Attracting visitors to your site requires maintaining visibility to the right people while freely providing something they value.  But before you can tackle this challenge, you must know exactly where you stand in your industry.  So, our first task is to analyze your current market position, your top competitors’ position, and your target audience’s profile.  We’ll then look for trends within your market; this information will help us forecast how your market may look 1-2 years down the line.  Everything we learn will help us develop a successful strategy.

In a nutshell, a successful strategy simultaneously satisfies two groups: the search engines (SE) and your target audience.  Due to the increased sophistication of SEs (i.e. the Google Artificial Intelligence project), the satisfaction requirements for each group is nearly identical.

When you type a keyword phrase into a SE, it responds with a page of links.  There are two types of links:  sponsored links and organic links.  The SE that consistently provides the most relevant results attracts the most people.  People, equal opportunity for sponsored clicks.  Sponsored clicks equal money.  Therefore, it’s in the SE’s best interest to display “useful, information-rich sites” that stand-out as time-tested industry authorities.

Many companies try to ‘trick’ the SEs into a first page ranking.  This is called ‘gaming the system.’  This approach may glean quick results for a short period.  But, it invariable results in the SE removing the site from its index.  Needless to say, this is not our approach.

  • Organic Links Trump Sponsored Links:  Ideally, your site should appear in both the sponsored links and the organic links.  But, if your budget forces a choice—choose the organic links; people choose organic links over sponsored links 80% of the time.
  • Google Compliance is a Virtue:  Google’s ranking criteria is the most stringent.  They also retain the largest pool of users—43.7% of the market share.  So, we’ll ensure your site architecture meets all of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
  • Abundant Unique Content Crowns You as King:  Since Google heavily favors “useful, information-rich sites,” we’ll position your website as the industry authority by consistently integrating relevant content, such as topic-based blog entries and informational articles.  Quality content will also increase your site’s conversion rates.
  • The Web Casts Its Votes in Backward Links:  Google considers backward links from authority sites (.edu, .gov, respected hub sites) as affirmative votes from the web community.  It does not value link exchange programs or other “link schemes. “  So, we’ll consistently and naturally acquire links to your site from university, government, and relevant industry sites in your community.
  • Don’t Go To Social Networking Party Empty Handed:  Participation in social network sites, like MySpace, FaceBook, Digg, etc., can help you drastically increase your visitors.  But if you don’t bring something fun of different to the party, you’ll warm a chair with the other wall flowers.  We included viral articles, games, tools, and videos in our strategy that will ensure your site is the life of the party.
